A small bit of history

 original Line-up

Originall formed back in 1991 after the break-up of Sons Of Headon. From those ashes, Tony Hands (guitar), Steve Shaw and Arfa Roach formed Tea For The Wicked with Bassist Jack Grigor (ex Chemical Alice). They released their first CD 'Endangered Species' the following year (1992).

After winning a battle of the bands competition at Harlow Square in '94 with a prize of a recording session at the studio at the Square the band relesed 'Out To Lunch'.

After a couple of years of gigs up and down the country including all the last remaining 'free' festivals the band went back into the studio to record their third CD entitled 'Wicked Teapot' during 1996/7. Again, as with the previous two CD's this was to be self financed
